Bob Robbins was a co-founder of Robbins Farley, LLC. With over 30 years of experience as a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager, Bob was instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing portfolios to enhance our comprehensive wealth planning strategies. Bob also assisted professional executives and owners of privately held businesses, helping guide them through major liquidity events by leveraging his previous successful career as a serial entrepreneur.
Bob graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and engaged in graduate study and research at Cornell University. After a career as an electrical engineer, he decided to pursue his interest in the cause and effect of economic indicators on financial and business cycles. In his role as a Portfolio Manager, Bob incorporated those studies into the Robbins Farley portfolio management philosophy.
As a Principal, Bob worked collaboratively with our team, applying his years of experience to help guide the practice. He earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). By integrating his experience and knowledge, Bob was uniquely situated to navigate the needs facing small businesses, professional practices, and individuals to help them achieve their wealth management goals.
In his free time, Bob has long pursued his passion for music. He has played trumpet professionally since his teenage years and today plays regularly with the Nottingham Brass Quintet and the Volare Jazz Band. Bob is an avid sailor and enjoys sailing, kayaking, cycling, and cross-country skiing with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
